The Disability Case Management System (DCMS) is designed to manage multiple
activities related to disability advocacy organizations that handle a
large volume of requests for service. The system was developed for and
has been in use by the Disability Law Center of Massachusetts since 2005
and is completely screen reader compatible. The DCMS is designed with
a user friendly interface, and tracks information from when a call is
received through potential litigation in court. Each user has their own
personalized "To Do" list available on the home page to help
manage work load. Administrators can supervise workload and run customizable
reports. At fiscal year end, run federal reports by simply loading the
preset report and entering the dates for the beginning and end of the
fiscal year. The system generates statistics needed for PADD, PAIR, PAIMI,
PATBI, PAAT, and PABSS with the ability to customize and add new loadable
reports to simplify reporting needs that are reoccuring. DCMS has a built
in message system to eliminate the need to use email for communications
within the organization, avoiding the problems associated with email like
spam, spam filtering, and the security vulnerabilities of email.
